LAHORE — In a significant development ahead of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections, the majority of office-bearers of Anjuman Tajran Lahore’s Quaid-e-Azam Group have announced their support for Founders Group Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim.
Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim attended a meeting of the traders’ organisation as the chief guest, where members reaffirmed their backing for the Founders Group in the upcoming chamber elections.
Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim thanked Malik Haji Muhammad Ejaz, Patron-in-Chief of Anjuman Tajran Lahore’s Quaid-e-Azam Group, and the organisation’s office-bearers for expressing confidence in the Founders Group’s vision and leadership.
He said unity among Lahore’s trader community is essential for strengthening the role of the Lahore Chamber and effectively representing the interests of businesses and industry.
The meeting was attended by a large number of traders and office-bearers, who pledged to support the Founders Group in the forthcoming LCCI polls.
Participants also offered prayers for the late mother of Haji Muhammad Afzal, Vice President of the Quaid-e-Azam Group, and prayed for her eternal peace.
The gathering congratulated Malik Muhammad Naeem, Senior Vice President of the Quaid-e-Azam Group, Malik Waseem Akram, Vice President, and Qadeer Rashid, Office Secretary, on the occasion of their Umrah pilgrimage.
The event concluded with a luncheon hosted by Malik Haji Muhammad Ejaz for the participants.
