KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistani vlogger Rajab Butt has issued another defamation legal notice to his former wife Emaan Asad, adding a new development to their ongoing public and legal dispute.

Pakistani social media personality Rajab Butt has sent another legal notice to his former wife Emaan Asad in connection with alleged defamatory content shared online, according to her lawyer.

The latest development has added another chapter to the dispute between the former couple, whose marital separation and subsequent legal disagreements have attracted considerable attention across social media platforms.

According to Emaan Asad’s lawyer, the notice accuses his client of attempting to damage Rajab Butt’s reputation through comments, reels and videos published or circulated online.

The lawyer said the allegations contained in the notice were not accompanied by evidence supporting the claims. He maintained that his client’s response had already been submitted and sought details and proof of the allegations so they could be properly examined.

The legal representative further described the latest notice as an apparent attempt to harass his client, although that characterization reflects his position in the dispute.

The allegations contained in the notice have not been independently established, and the legal dispute remains between the parties.

Rajab Butt and Emaan Asad have remained the subject of widespread online discussion since their marriage came under public scrutiny and eventually ended.

In March, Rajab Butt publicly confirmed that he had decided to end the marriage. Following the announcement, a legal divorce notice was reportedly sent to Emaan Asad.

The former couple subsequently remained involved in disagreements that extended beyond the divorce itself. Their statements and legal developments have continued to attract attention because of Rajab Butt’s substantial social media following.

In August, Emaan Fatima publicly claimed that she had received a defamation notice from Rajab Butt. She also said that a separate notice relating to the custody of their son had been issued.

At the time, details concerning the notices were primarily based on the public account provided by Emaan Asad and her representatives. The latest notice has now renewed discussion surrounding the former couple’s legal dispute.

The case illustrates how disagreements involving high-profile social media personalities can quickly become public, particularly when allegations are made through online platforms.

Rajab Butt has millions of followers across major social media networks, including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. His large digital audience means developments involving his personal life can rapidly generate widespread discussion and commentary.

The latest legal notice reportedly focuses on online material that Rajab Butt’s side believes has harmed his reputation. Defamation proceedings generally require disputed statements or content to be assessed within the relevant legal framework, including questions concerning their publication, meaning, context and potential impact.

Emaan Asad’s legal team, meanwhile, has challenged the allegations by seeking supporting evidence. The response submitted on her behalf is expected to form part of the ongoing exchange between the two sides.

Neither the issuance of a legal notice nor an allegation contained within it by itself establishes wrongdoing. Any claims made by either party would need to be addressed through the appropriate legal process if the dispute proceeds further.

The disagreement also comes against the backdrop of continuing public interest in the former couple’s family matters. Their separation, divorce-related developments and reported custody concerns have generated considerable discussion among followers.

Legal disputes involving public figures can also create additional challenges because social media commentary may spread claims before they are independently verified. For that reason, statements made by either side remain subject to their respective legal positions until supported or determined through appropriate proceedings.

For now, the latest development centers on the new defamation notice and the response submitted by Emaan Asad’s lawyer. Further developments could depend on whether either side takes additional legal action or reaches an understanding outside formal proceedings.

The dispute is likely to remain under public scrutiny given Rajab Butt’s extensive online following and the continued interest in his personal and legal affairs.
