LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Health, Khawaja Salman Rafique, inaugurated a dedicated prayer room (church) for Christian staff and patients at the Punjab Institute of Mental Health (PIMH).
The event was attended by MPA and PIMH Coordinator Mian Naseer Ahmed, Executive Director Dr Saqib Bajwa, Allama Zubair Abid, Father James Channan OP, Dr Raheel Kareem, Dr Saleem Masih, Nadeem Bhatti, Zulfiqar Masih, Ashar, Hanif Masih, Asghar Gul, Shah Rukh, and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Khawaja Salman Rafique remarked that the establishment of a prayer room (church) for Christian staff and patients is a commendable step. He emphasized that Pakistan upholds the rights of all religious communities to practice their faith freely and live according to their beliefs.
