The child’s mother had registered a kidnapping case at the concerned police station, following which investigators launched an operation to trace the missing toddler.

According to the investigation officer, the suspect had allegedly kidnapped the child and taken him to Sargodha.

Police said modern technology, along with human intelligence, was used to trace and arrest the suspect.

DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza said the suspect was now in police custody and directed investigators to prepare a strong challan so that the accused could face punishment according to law.
