LAHORE (Web Desk) –A marital dispute involving a social media influencer doctor Dr Nabiha Ali and her husband Haris Khaokahr has intensified after the husband released a video statement denying accusations levelled against him by his wife.
In the video, the husband alleged that his wife is affected by extreme suspicion and mistrust, which he described as untreatable. He said there had been no major disputes between them and claimed she had been content living with him and his family.
He stated that problems started after he set up a new business. According to him, his wife wanted to accompany him everywhere, which he said was not suitable for professional meetings, social gatherings with friends, or routine work commitments.
He further alleged that whenever he left home for work, his wife suspected he was going somewhere else. He denied any involvement in unlawful or inappropriate behaviour and maintained that the real problem in their relationship was mistrust and negative assumptions, not abuse or serious conflict.
The husband also rejected claims of physical or verbal abuse, saying there had never been physical fights, violence, or abusive language between them. He said his focus was on working to support his household, adding that it was unrealistic to take his wife to every place he visited for work.
The relationship had first attracted public attention when the couple announced their engagement and marriage last year, surprising many followers online. However, reports of differences between them emerged only a few months after the wedding.
In a recent television appearance, the doctor said her marriage was facing severe difficulties. She stated the relationship had not ended but warned that the situation could lead to divorce.
She further claimed that if the marriage collapses, her husband’s family would be responsible. She alleged that her husband is influenced by his parents and behaves unfairly towards her.
The doctor also questioned why the marriage was finalised if another match had been preferred by the family. She said she devoted herself fully to her married life, cared for her mother-in-law and reduced her professional workload in an attempt to stabilise the relationship.
The matter continues to play out publicly, with no clear indication yet of whether reconciliation efforts are under way.
