LAHORE : A one-day “Free Skin Diseases Medical Camp” was organized at Mercy Health Center of Forman Christian College University (FCCU). This medical camp was organized under the leadership of Consultant Dermatologist Dr. Masood Sohail, in which 130 patients were examined in detail. Medicines were prescribed and distributed to the patients immediately.
This camp was organized at Forman Christian College University in collaboration with NKAS Pharma and Mercy Health Center, which is a symbol of exemplary partnership between private and academic institutions in the health sector.
Dr. Masood Sohail is one of the leading skin disease specialists in Lahore. Consultant Dermatologist Masood Sohail is associated with Iqra Hospital, he performed advanced diagnostics of patients suffering from skin diseases. Thanks to his expertise, several complex cases were identified immediately and appropriate treatment was started. The patients highly appreciated the doctor’s professionalism and kindness, where the patients said, “This facility is a great gift for us. We are very grateful to the university administration and Mercy Health Center.” Key partners and medical team played a key role in the success of the camp. Free medicines were provided under the leadership of NKAS Pharma CEO Usman A. Khan.
The camp was attended by Dr. Sarah Bashir, Dr. Junaid Mirza, Nursing Staff: Lynn Asaf Din (RN), Head of Health Services (Mercy Health Center). Hina Khushi, Rachel Hammad (RN). Joshua Falaksher (RN) and Shakeel Sunny (RN). All basic tests including check-ups were free of cost. Consultant Dermatologist Dr. Masood Sohail concluded by saying, “Do not ignore skin diseases; we will continue such camps so that every citizen remains healthy.” The continuity of medical camps can prove to be important in strengthening the health facilities of the citizens.
