The hearing was presided over by Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo. Saad Rehman appeared before the court along with his wife, Aroob Jatoi, and his legal team comprising Barrister Amrit Sheikh and Advocate Usman Latif.
During the proceedings, the court directed authorities to unfreeze the accused’s bank accounts, providing him financial relief amid the ongoing investigation. Additionally, the magistrate granted conditional permission for him to resume uploading content on his YouTube channel.
However, the court imposed a strict restriction, barring him from discussing or commenting on the pending case in any of his online content.
The court noted that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had objected to 27 videos available on Ducky Bhai’s channel. Despite these objections, the magistrate clarified that the videos would not be taken down at this stage of the proceedings.
The case pertains to allegations that the influencer promoted gambling-related applications through his digital platforms. Earlier, the court had summoned Ducky Bhai and others in connection with the inquiry.
The magistrate adjourned further hearing of the case until March 11 and directed NCCIA to present its witnesses at the next date of proceedings.
After the hearing concluded, Ducky Bhai’s legal team presented him with a commemorative shield inside the court premises to celebrate his recent milestone of surpassing 10 million followers, marking a significant achievement in his online career.
