KABUL (News Desk) – Afghanistan has issued a stern warning to Pakistan, declaring that any attack from its neighbour will trigger an immediate counteraction, and if Afghan territory is hit, Islamabad itself could come under fire.

The latest warning comes in the wake of stalled peace negotiations in Istanbul and provocative slogans raised during a recent police academy parade in Kabul, further straining already fragile ties between the two countries.
According to Afghan media reports, officials in Kabul said that any assault from Pakistan will be met “without delay,” and that the policy of retaliation has now been clearly defined by the Afghan government.
The situation worsened after videos from the parade went viral, showing cadets chanting verses threatening attacks on Islamabad and Lahore, which observers say has fanned the flames of hostility and raised the risk of a wider conflict.
The fiery rhetoric follows a series of border skirmishes and a recent explosion in Islamabad, events that have left both sides on edge. Analysts warn that both nations are walking a tightrope, and escalating threats could push the region toward a dangerous confrontation.
Commentators believe such statements from Kabul could slam the door on diplomacy, making it increasingly difficult to find common ground through dialogue. The tense situation, they note, is now teetering on the brink, with any misstep potentially sparking serious consequences for regional stability.
