ISLAMADAD (WebDesk) – The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast a fresh monsoon spell from August 27, with thunderstorms and heavy rainfall expected in Islamabad and several other parts of the country.
According to the latest weather outlook, Islamabad may experience strong winds, thunderstorms and heavy rain, while temperatures could reach 36°C amid continued hot and humid conditions.
The weather system is expected to provide temporary relief from the prevailing heat in some areas, although humidity will remain high.
In Karachi, sea conditions have improved as wave intensity has decreased. However, residents are likely to continue experiencing hot and humid weather in the coming days.
Lahore is expected to remain largely dry during the week, with temperatures staying high and humid conditions persisting.
Authorities have advised residents in areas expected to receive heavy rainfall to remain cautious, particularly during thunderstorms and periods of strong winds.
