MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is set to share screen space with legendary Indian actor Rajinikanth in the upcoming Tamil film Jailer 2, marking their first on-screen reunion in nearly four decades.
According to Indian media reports, Hrithik Roshan’s role in the highly anticipated sequel is being given special prominence, with filmmakers reportedly preparing a separate musical background theme for his character.
The collaboration reunites the two actors, who previously appeared together in the 1986 action drama Bhagwaan Dada. In the film, a young Hrithik played the role of Rajinikanth’s son.
Jailer 2 will be their first project together since that appearance, making the reunion a major talking point among fans of both stars.
Media reports suggest that filming for the movie is expected to commence in Chennai on June 22 or 23.
