Students, young professionals, academics, healthcare specialists and participants from different sectors attended the programme.

Career counselling takes centre stage

Multiple educational, training and professional development activities were conducted simultaneously in Conference Hall 1, Conference Hall 2 and Expo Hall 2.

Conference Hall 1 hosted a dedicated career counselling seminar, where experts advised students on selecting professions, preparing for the workplace and making informed decisions about their future careers.

Another session examined the future of employment and the role of human resources in an increasingly digital environment, focusing on how technological transformation is reshaping skills and workplace requirements.

Speakers highlighted the importance of preparing young people for an employment market where conventional qualifications increasingly need to be complemented by digital skills and professional adaptability.

Global career pathways and medical ethics discussed

Conference Hall 2 featured sessions on professionalism and ethics, with discussions covering career pathways in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.

Experts also addressed medical ethics and professional responsibilities, providing students and young healthcare professionals with information about international career opportunities and the ethical standards expected in professional practice.

The sessions sought to bridge the gap between academic education and the practical requirements graduates may encounter when pursuing careers at home or overseas.

AI and technology shape healthcare debate

Technology and the future of healthcare featured prominently in activities held at Expo Hall 2.

Documentaries highlighting the work of Rashid Latif Khan Group and its partner institutions were screened alongside presentations and interactive sessions.

Impetus Systems delivered a briefing, while Dr Kamal Aydin addressed participants on the “Future of Healthcare,” examining emerging developments likely to influence medical services and healthcare delivery.

Dr Usman and his team conducted a separate briefing on medical ethics.

Dr Umar Bukhari, prominent motivational speaker Qasim Ali Shah and other speakers also delivered lectures during the Open House, engaging students on professional and personal development.

US-based expert discusses AI with students

Artificial intelligence received particular attention during a session conducted by Dr Shahbaz from the United States.

The programme was designed to introduce students to AI, emerging technologies and skills expected to become increasingly important in future education and employment.

With technology rapidly transforming healthcare and other professional sectors, organisers sought to give students greater exposure to developments beyond traditional classroom education.

Rashid Latif Khan University also provided information about its academic programmes and admission opportunities. Head of Admissions Syed Ahsan Ali delivered a presentation for prospective students and participants.

Connecting education with employment

Through expert lectures, presentations, documentaries and career counselling, the Open House focused heavily on helping young people understand the changing relationship between education, employment, healthcare and technology.

Organisers said the second day was structured specifically to expose students and professionals to future opportunities while encouraging them to develop skills relevant to an increasingly technology-driven workplace.

The event also sought to reinforce professionalism and ethical responsibility as essential components of career development, particularly for those entering healthcare professions.

Students bring second day to a close

The day’s activities concluded with a drum performance by students of Rashid Latif Khan University, adding a creative element to the professional and academic programme. Souvenirs were also distributed among participants.

Organisers described the Open House as an important platform for connecting students and young professionals with specialists from healthcare, education, technology and human-resource development.

They said HESP-2026 seeks to bring the health, education and human-resource sectors onto a common platform through its central principles of policy, progress and partnership, while preparing younger generations for emerging professional opportunities.
