LAHORE: In the Punjab Assembly, the agricultural income tax bill for taxing the farmers was presented in the House.
The speaker handed it over to the relevant committee for discussion, according to the details.
The session of Punjab Assembly started under the chairmanship of Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed. Government member Amjad Ali Javed called the increase in the fees of Nadra Secession Certificate and Declaration Certificate as oppression.
After the bill to implement agricultural income tax during official proceedings was presented in the house, it was handed over to the relevant standing committee revenue for two months.
Opposition Leader Punjab Assembly Ahmed Bhachar says that the farmers are already suffering from economic problems due to the wrong policies of this government.
