TEHRAN (Web Desk) – Israel has said its military has been directed to respond with “full force” to any immediate threats in Lebanon, despite an ongoing truce, and pledged to demolish homes allegedly used by Hezbollah, sources report.

State media indicated that demolition operations were already in progress on Sunday.
Although some displaced residents in southern Lebanon have begun returning to their homes, many remain cautious, uncertain about how long the 10-day ceasefire—effective since Friday—will hold after weeks of clashes between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah group.
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had instructed the army to act decisively, both on the ground and from the air, even during the ceasefire, to ensure the safety of Israeli troops in Lebanon.
He added that forces had also been ordered to destroy any booby-trapped structures or roads, as well as remove homes in border villages that were allegedly used as Hezbollah positions.
