LAHORE: The Progressive Group has witnessed a significant boost in popularity as a large number of traders from Ferozepur Road formally joined its associate class, marking an expansion beyond its corporate membership base.

A grand reception was hosted by the traders in honor of Group Chairman Engineer Khalid Usman and the leadership team. During the event, the business community, led by Muhammad Zubair Kashif, officially announced their inclusion in the Progressive Group.
Prominent figures joining the group include Muhammad Zubair Kashif, Tasleem, Ashfaq, Asghar, Amjad Rana, Khawaja Tanveer, Waqas Sheikh, Khurram, Naveed, Moazzam, Naseem, Yousaf, and Manzoor, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Zubair Kashif said that Engineer Khalid Usman and his team are making sincere efforts to address the issues faced by the business community. He highlighted Usman’s effective role as Senior Vice President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce in advocating for traders. Kashif also expressed his commitment to strengthening the associate class within the Progressive Group.
Addressing the ceremony, Engineer Khalid Usman thanked the Ferozepur Road traders for their trust and support, stating that the Progressive Group is committed to representing every segment of the business community. He said the inclusion of associate class members would further strengthen the group’s voice and unity.
He added that the group believes in practical solutions, transparent leadership, and active engagement with policymakers to resolve traders’ issues. Usman emphasized that empowering small and medium traders remains a top priority and assured continued efforts to protect their interests.
During the ceremony, Engineer Khalid Usman announced the appointment of Muhammad Zubair Kashif as President of Progressive Group Ferozepur Road, acknowledging his services and strong influence among traders.
The reception was attended by key members of the Progressive Group leadership, including Vice Presidents Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Jameel Ahmed, and Abdul Wadud Alvi, Secretary General Chaudhry Mohsin Bashir, Young Entrepreneurs President Yasharb Riaz, and Corporate Class Convener Syed Hassan Raza. The event concluded with a luncheon in honor of the participants.
