LAHORE:one-day spiritual and peaceful prayer service was held at Isa Nagri, Narowal under the leadership of Senior Pastor Anwar Fazal. Special prayers were offered for the safety, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan.

Federal Minister for Planning & Development Ahsan Iqbal attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora, Pastor Nida Anwar, local leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (N), and a large number of Christian community members were also present.
Addressing the gathering, Senior Pastor Anwar Fazal offered special prayers for the development, unity, and stability of Pakistan. He prayed for the brave Pakistan Armed Forces, the judiciary, and all state institutions, stating that the Christian community has always stood with the State of Pakistan. He strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack outside Islamabad District Courts, offered prayers for the martyrs’ families, and wished speedy recovery for the injured. He also prayed for the health of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and praised her commitment to public service.
Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, in his address, said that Pakistan’s progress is rooted in strong institutions, national unity, and interfaith harmony. He emphasized that all religious minorities in Pakistan are equal citizens and the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees complete religious freedom to every individual. He added that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) has practically upheld the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah by ensuring that every citizen is free to practice their faith. Ahsan Iqbal paid tribute to the Christian community for its historic and significant role in the creation, development, and progress of Pakistan, acknowledging their services with deep appreciation. Condemning the recent acts of terrorism, Ahsan Iqbal said that Pakistan has always desired peace, but this desire should never be mistaken for weakness.
He stated that the enemies of Pakistan must know that anyone who dares cast an evil eye on our country will be made an example. Our martyrs are our pride, and their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora, in his remarks, reaffirmed that the Punjab government is committed to protecting the rights, welfare, and religious freedom of minority communities. He noted that such events play a vital role in promoting social harmony and national unity.
Pastor Nida Anwar also led special collective prayers for the peace, prosperity, and security of the nation.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, a raffle draw was conducted under the employment initiative of Isaac TV, through which motorcycles along with financial support loans were distributed among unemployed youth.
