LAHORE, APRIL 10 — Lahore police have recovered stolen valuables belonging to a Ugandan national and arrested a suspect involved in the theft.
The action was taken after Muhammad Naveed took notice of the incident involving the foreign citizen and ordered an immediate investigation.
A police team led by SP Investigation Iqbal Town Sidra Khan was tasked with recovering the stolen items. Acting on directives, Incharge Investigation Muslim Town Ali Raza, along with his team, conducted a successful operation and arrested the आरोपी.
Police recovered a laptop, passport, cheque book, Samsung and Nokia mobile phones, and ATM cards from the suspect. The stolen items belonged to Ugandan national Abdul Hameed, who had reported the theft a few days earlier.
Authorities confirmed that the recovered belongings were handed back to the complainant. The Ugandan citizen expressed gratitude to the police for their swift action.
SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed also distributed commendation certificates among the Muslim Town police team for their performance.
