LAHORE: A delegation of the United Business Group (UBG) Pakistan visited the residence of newly elected Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Ali Hussam Asghar and congratulated him on his election victory.

According to details, UBG Central Chairman Zafar Bakhtawari led the delegation, which expressed good wishes for Ali Hussam Asghar and appreciated the confidence shown by the business community in the new LCCI leadership.
The delegation included Senior Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Saqib Fayyaz Magoon, former FPCCI Regional Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad, LCCI former President Kashif Anwar, former LCCI Vice President Tariq Mahmood and other business representatives.
The delegation members congratulated Ali Hussam Asghar on assuming the leadership role and expressed hope that the new office-bearers of the Lahore Chamber would work for resolving the issues faced by traders and industrialists.
They said the business community expected the LCCI leadership to play an active role in promoting trade, industry and economic development while effectively highlighting the concerns of entrepreneurs at relevant forums.
Ali Hussam Asghar thanked the UBG delegation and business leaders for their visit, goodwill and support. He assured that the LCCI would continue working for the collective interests of the business community and would make efforts to strengthen cooperation among traders and industrialists.
The meeting was also attended by prominent members of the business community, who discussed matters related to trade facilitation and the challenges faced by the business sector.
