SHEIKHUPURA – Syed Ijaz Hussain Zaidi, Advocate High Court and former Joint Secretary of the District Bar Association (DBA) Sheikhupura, has been elected as Educationist Senator for the 2026–2028 session of the National Education Assembly.
His election has been widely welcomed by members of the legal and academic community, who described it as recognition of his long-standing contributions to education, leadership, and public service.
Syed Qamar-ul-Hassan Naqvi, Advocate, researcher in religious and intellectual affairs, poet and writer, and Chairman of the Young Lawyers Welfare Council Pakistan, extended heartfelt congratulations to Zaidi on his achievement.
He praised Zaidi’s commitment to academic development and professional integrity, stating that his dedication to education and institutional growth has been “truly commendable.”
Naqvi expressed confidence that Zaidi would continue to serve the nation with “wisdom, dignity and vision” in his new role, contributing positively to the advancement of educational standards and policy development.
He further prayed for Zaidi’s continued success, stating that his leadership would strengthen educational discourse and promote constructive reforms within the sector.
