LAHORE – Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Fatima Jinnah Medical University have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Lahore-based JSYS Technologies to deploy the NeoPedix AI App, an advanced artificial intelligence platform designed to support paediatricians in clinical decision-making and neonatal care.
The signing ceremony was held at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, where the agreement was signed on behalf of the hospital and university by Registrar Prof. Muhammad Nadeem and co-signed by Prof. Naveed Akbar Hotiana, Head of the Department of Paediatrics. JSYS Technologies was represented by its Chief Executive Officer Zahid Chaudhry and Technical Director Khizran Ahmad.
The partnership marks a significant step towards integrating artificial intelligence into paediatric healthcare in Pakistan. Officials said the initiative would help improve clinical efficiency, diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes through the use of intelligent algorithms and digital health solutions.
The NeoPedix AI App is designed to support maternal, neonatal and perinatal care by providing data-driven insights to healthcare professionals. The platform aims to assist doctors in evaluating and personalising treatment strategies for young patients while reducing complications and improving healthcare delivery.
Speaking on the occasion, Zahid Chaudhry said the collaboration reflected a shared commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare. He noted that the project would position Sir Ganga Ram Hospital among the leading institutions adopting advanced digital health technologies in the country.
Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Medical University Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal welcomed the initiative and said the adoption of AI-based tools would contribute to modernising medical education and patient care while preparing future healthcare professionals for a technology-driven environment.
Prof. Muhammad Nadeem described the agreement as a transformative step for the institution, saying it would set an example for the adoption of artificial intelligence in public-sector hospitals across Pakistan.
Prof. Naveed Akbar Hotiana also highlighted the benefits of AI-assisted healthcare, stating that the technology would provide paediatricians with faster and more accurate clinical insights, ultimately improving neonatal care and patient outcomes.
