LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has been discharged from the Sharif Medical City Hospital after undergoing a successful major surgery, according to a statement released by Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Minister Aurangzeb confirmed that the Chief Minister is now recovering at home. Notably, despite her medical procedure, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz remained actively engaged in her official responsibilities. On the day of Eid, she personally monitored critical provincial affairs, including security protocols and cleanliness drives, directly from the hospital.
