[:en]LAHORE: On the directive of CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana, Lahore police took swift action and reclaimed a house worth millions of rupees for a rickshaw driver named Maqbool Ahmed from the land mafia.
The accused Rana Ashfaq had fraudulently seized Maqbool Ahmed’s house located in Nadarabad, Bhatta Chowk area.
Maqbool Ahmed sought help from the complaint cell at the Capital City Police Headquarters. Based on his complaint, a committee comprising members from LDA and the Police department recommended legal action based on documentary evidence.
Acting on the special instructions of the CCPO, Lahore police reclaimed a house from the accused and returned it to the rickshaw driver Maqbool Ahmed.
The CCPO stated that those who seize citizen’s properties will not be spared. He added that the use of modern technology has enhanced departmental efficiency by providing immediate relief to the public. Maqbool Ahmed expressed his gratitude to CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana and Lahore police inhelping him to reclaim his house.[:]
