LAHORE: Maritime Centre of Excellence (MCE) and Centre for International Strategic Studies (CISS), Islamabad, jointly organized a one-day conference titled “Shifting Tides: Strategic Realignments in the Indian Ocean Region” at Pakistan Navy War College (PNWC), Lahore, on 19 December 2024.
The conference brought together eminent guest speakers, including senior retired military officers, diplomats, and distinguished academicians, to share their insights on the evolving dynamics of the Indian Ocean Region. The audience comprised students and faculty from Lahore-based universities and research faculty from leading think tanks. The conference provided a comprehensive analysis of the shifting strategic dynamics in the Indian Ocean Region, emphasizing the growing significance of maritime domain as theater for geopolitical contestations.
