According to details, three factories producing unauthorized and potentially hazardous LPG bowsers were sealed, and equipment was seized. The operation was conducted following a formal complaint filed by Irfan Khokhar, Chairman of the LPG Distributors Association of Pakistan.
Acting on the complaint, OGRA Chairman Masroor Khan directed immediate action. OGRA teams, demonstrating professionalism and commitment to public safety, carried out the successful operation. During the raids, 14 unauthorized LPG bowsers were taken into custody, and legal proceedings have been initiated.
Irfan Khokhar expressed appreciation for OGRA’s timely response, emphasizing the need for strict action against unlawful manufacturing that puts lives at risk. He also highlighted past incidents involving substandard bowsers and called for continued vigilance.
Authorities confirmed that further investigations are underway in accordance with relevant laws.
