LAHORE: Vision Alliance candidate for the Corporate Class of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Mardan Ali Zaidi, has appealed to members of the business community to actively participate in the upcoming chamber elections and vote for the alliance’s candidates from serial number 1 to 15.
In a statement issued during the election campaign, Mardan Ali Zaidi said the LCCI elections provide an important opportunity for the business community to choose representatives who can effectively highlight their concerns and work for the promotion of trade and industry.

He urged LCCI members to cast their votes in favour of the Vision Alliance to strengthen the voice of traders, industrialists and entrepreneurs at the chamber platform.
“Unity among the business community is essential for addressing the challenges faced by the private sector,” Zaidi said, adding that the chamber should continue playing an active role in facilitating businesses and presenting their issues before relevant authorities.
He said the business sector was facing multiple challenges, including rising operational costs, taxation issues, energy concerns, regulatory matters and the need for improved trade facilitation. He stressed that effective representation was necessary to create a stronger connection between the business community and policymakers.
Mardan Ali Zaidi highlighted that the Vision Alliance had presented a vision focused on improving engagement with LCCI members and ensuring that the concerns of different segments of the business community, including traders, manufacturers and exporters, receive proper attention.
He said the alliance candidates were committed to working collectively for the betterment of Lahore’s business community and strengthening the role of the chamber as a platform for economic development.
The Vision Alliance candidate reminded members that Corporate Class polling will be held on September 23, 2026, while Associate Class polling will take place on September 24, 2026.
He encouraged eligible voters to participate in the electoral process and said every vote would contribute towards shaping the future direction of the chamber.
“Vote for Vision Alliance from serial number 1 to 15 for the victory of trade and industry,” Zaidi said, appealing to LCCI members to support candidates who, according to him, are committed to serving the business community with dedication.
He added that the alliance would continue its efforts to engage with members and work towards a more inclusive and responsive chamber.
