LAHORE: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is fully committed and ensuring the best possible medical treatment for swift recovery of police personnel injured while protecting citizens’ lives and properties. In line with this commitment, Dr. Usman Anwar has released an additional 32 lakh rupees for the medical treatment of officers and personnel injured in various incidents. The funds allocated include 10 lakh rupees for injured Constable Shahid Manzoor’s medical expenses, while 5 lakh rupees have been released for the treatment of injured ASI Muhammad Siddique. Injured Constable Muhammad Tariq has been provided with 3.5 lakh rupees for his medical costs, and Constables Amir Riaz Khan and Ghazi Constable Mazhar Nawaz have been allocated 3 lakh rupees each. Injured Sub-Inspector Muhammad Sadiq Hussain will receive 2.5 lakh rupees for his treatment, and Constables Ali Raza and DG Khan Constable Mazhar Nazir will each be provided with 2 lakh rupees for medical expenses. Additionally, Constable Taqi-ul-Husnain has been given 1 lakh rupees for his treatment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the swift recovery of officers and personnel injured in the line of duty is his top priority. He also assured that the Police Welfare Fund will continue to provide full support for the medical treatment of these brave officers and personnel.
