LAHORE: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan visited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and met President Ali Hussam Asghar to discuss issues facing the industrial and business sectors, promotion of economic activity and industrial development in the country.

During the meeting, the participants discussed measures to promote industry and trade, address challenges faced by the business community, encourage investment and strengthen coordination between the government and private sector.
LCCI Senior Vice President Sardar Usman Ghani and Vice President Chaudhry Khadim Hussain were also present.
Former LCCI President Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, former Senior Vice President Nasir Hameed Khan, former Vice President Haris Atiq and Executive Committee members Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim, Muhammad Yaseen, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Adeel Babar Khan, Ali Raza, Muhammad Ijaz Ghori, Shah Bahram, Syed Azmat Ali, Mian Sohail Nisar, Amjad Chaudhry, Atiqur Rehman and Mian Imran Asghar also attended the meeting.
Former Executive Committee member Asia Saail Khan and other representatives of the business community were also present.
The participants emphasised the importance of creating a conducive environment for businesses, resolving industry-related issues, facilitating investment and maintaining effective government-private sector coordination to support industrial and commercial growth.
