LAHORE: Ch Imran Salimi, former LCCI Executive Committee member and CEO of Rainbow Super Stores, has thanked the Lahore business community for its support and cooperation during his two-year association with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), saying he was grateful for the opportunity to serve the wider business community.

In a statement following the conclusion of the LCCI election process, Ch Imran Salimi said he deeply appreciated the confidence, support and goodwill extended to him by members of the Lahore business community during the past two years.
He said the opportunity to serve at the chamber had been a valuable experience and had enabled him to remain connected with traders, industrialists and other members of the business community.
“I am thankful to the entire Lahore business community for its support, trust and cooperation during the last two years,” he said. “I am also grateful to the leadership for giving me the opportunity to serve and represent the business community.”
Ch Imran Salimi said serving the business community through the LCCI platform was both a responsibility and an honour. He said the chamber provided an important forum for raising issues faced by traders and industrialists and for maintaining communication between the private sector and relevant government institutions.
He expressed appreciation for the cooperation of business community members during his tenure and said their feedback and engagement remained important in addressing issues affecting businesses.
He also congratulated the newly elected members of the LCCI Executive Committee and wished them success in their new responsibilities.
“I wish all the newly elected Executive Committee members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry the very best for their tenure,” he said.
Ch Imran Salimi expressed the hope that the newly elected representatives would work according to the expectations of the business community and give due attention to the issues being faced by traders and industrialists.
He said the new leadership had an important responsibility to maintain communication with the business community and to ensure that its concerns were effectively highlighted before the relevant authorities.
He further hoped that the new office-bearers and Executive Committee members would continue efforts to strengthen the business environment in Lahore and support initiatives aimed at promoting trade, investment and industrial activity.
Ch Imran Salimi said unity and cooperation among members of the business community were essential for addressing economic and commercial challenges. He also encouraged business representatives to remain engaged with the chamber and contribute their suggestions for improving the business environment.
He reiterated his gratitude to the leadership, colleagues, traders, industrialists and all those who supported him during his two-year association with the LCCI.
He said he would continue to remain connected with the Lahore business community and hoped that the chamber’s newly elected representatives would work collectively to address business concerns and fulfil the expectations placed on them.
