LAHORE: Vision Alliance leader and business community representative Khadim Hussain has appealed to members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to actively participate in the upcoming elections and support candidates committed to strengthening the voice of traders and industrialists.
In a statement issued during the election campaign, Khadim Hussain said the business community was passing through a challenging phase and required strong, effective and result-oriented representation at the chamber level.
He said the LCCI plays an important role in highlighting issues faced by the private sector and maintaining close coordination between the business community and government institutions.
Khadim Hussain said traders, industrialists and entrepreneurs were facing several challenges, including rising business costs, taxation issues, energy concerns, regulatory difficulties and obstacles affecting trade activities. He stressed that a strong chamber platform was essential to present these matters effectively and seek practical solutions.
He said Vision Alliance was committed to promoting unity among different segments of the business community and ensuring that the concerns of members from all sectors were given due importance.
According to Khadim Hussain, the chamber should focus on facilitating businesses, encouraging investment, supporting small and medium enterprises and creating an environment where entrepreneurs can operate with confidence.
He urged LCCI members to participate in the election process and choose representatives who can work with dedication for the betterment of the business community.
“The strength of any chamber depends on the active participation and unity of its members,” Hussain said, adding that collective efforts were necessary to address economic challenges and promote sustainable growth.
He said Vision Alliance candidates were committed to maintaining regular engagement with LCCI members and taking up their genuine issues at appropriate forums.
Khadim Hussain also highlighted the importance of the upcoming LCCI elections, saying that the participation of eligible voters would play an important role in shaping the future direction of the chamber.
