LAHORE (Web Desk) – Actor Namrah Shahid has urged people to avoid judging celebrities based on rumours and assumptions, saying the public often does not know the complete story behind personal decisions.
In a recent interview, Namrah spoke about discussions surrounding Ramsha Khan, Khushhal Khan, Falak Shabir and Sarah Khan. She said decisions related to marriage, family life and professional careers are personal matters that should not be linked to speculation without evidence.
Addressing rumours that Ramsha Khan stepped away from showbiz after marrying Khushhal Khan, Namrah said it is unfair to assume that a husband or family is always responsible when a woman chooses to take a break from work. She added that such decisions can be made independently for personal reasons.
The actress also referred to Iqra Aziz, noting that taking on fewer projects after becoming a mother does not necessarily indicate family pressure, as many women make such choices on their own.
Speaking about criticism faced by singer Falak Shabir over comments regarding modest dressing, Namrah said his remarks may have been misunderstood. While she felt the message could have been communicated differently, she did not believe his intentions were negative.
