A well-trained young generation is the foundation of a civilized society, and it is shaped not only by intellect but also by strong character and values. These views were expressed by Dr. Humaira Tariq, Secretary General of the Women’s Circle of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, during the Flagship Graduates Awards ceremony organized by Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan.

Dr. Humaira emphasized that as long as women were not diverted from the family system in the name of modernity, generations raised with Islamic values and traditions flourished. “Even today, those generations uphold social and familial values,” she said. “Women are the foundation of a strong family, and a strong family ensures protection and comfort for women.”
She lauded Al-Khidmat Foundation’s efforts in developing educational and creative skills in young women through its Graduates Internship Program. She also highlighted Jamaat-e-Islami’s role in nurturing thousands of female students across more than 20 universities and various sub-campuses. These programs combine academic learning with religious education—teaching Quran, Sunnah, and modern computer skills—to equip women with professional and ethical competencies.
Hundreds of Jamaat-e-Islami training centers are working nationwide to provide women with vocational training, while Fahm-ul-Quran institutes are imparting high-quality translation and interpretation education in every corner of the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Secretary and Director of the Media Cell, Samina Saeed, said, “Women’s awareness is the beginning of a civilized society. The young generation is our future, and their ethical and leadership training is vital for the development of a balanced society.”
She added that Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan is playing a commendable role in preparing the next generation for responsible leadership.
At the end of the ceremony, awards were distributed among graduating female students, while volunteers of Al-Khidmat Foundation were also recognized with shields and certificates for their contributions.
