CCPO commends police force for ensuring peaceful Ashura

LAHORE – Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana has lauded the police force for their outstanding efforts in ensuring the peaceful observance of Ashura Muharram-ul-Haram.

In his message of appreciation, he praised the exemplary teamwork demonstrated by all units of Lahore Police, which led to a peaceful Ashura.

The CCPO expressed gratitude to the Peace Committees, religious scholars, license holders, volunteers and organizers for their cooperation during Ashura. He also acknowledged the commendable role played by the people and media in supporting security efforts.

Highlighting the tireless commitment of police, Kamyana said Policemen remained active in the field day and night to ensure the safety of the citizens. He added that the peaceful conduct of Ashura was the result of collective efforts and close coordination among line departments.

The CCPO further stated that Lahore Police worked as a team alongside the district administration, Punjab Safe Cities Authority and other relevant agencies. The cooperation and dedication of all stakeholders in maintaining peace was praiseworthy, he concluded.
