LAHORE — Lahore Police recovered two abducted sisters from Islamabad and arrested the key suspects involved in the Manga Mandi kidnapping case, officials said on Friday.

According to the DIG Investigation Lahore office, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz took notice of the abduction and directed DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza to ensure the safe recovery of the girls. Acting on her instructions, police launched a coordinated search operation spanning Lahore and Islamabad.
A special team led by SP Investigation Saddar Moazzam Ali, along with In-charge Investigation Manga Mandi Murtaza Aslam, traced the suspects’ location in Islamabad using modern technology and human intelligence. Police raided the hideout, arrested the accused, and safely recovered the two sisters.
Officials confirmed that the arrested individuals include the alleged ringleader, a woman who reportedly lured the girls, and two accomplices. Police say the group transported the girls to Islamabad after kidnapping them from Manga Mandi.
DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza said the culprits would face strict legal action and that a strong challan would be submitted in court to ensure exemplary punishment. He stressed that those involved in crimes against women and children “deserve no leniency.”
SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed announced commendation certificates for the officers who participated in the successful operation, acknowledging their swift and effective response.
