Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim administers oath to newly elected office-bearers of Ali Hajveri Free Drug Bank

LAHORE: Chairman Founders Group Lahore Chamber Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim administered the oath to newly elected office-bearers of the Ali Hajveri Free Drug Bank and associated healthcare institutions for the 2026-29 term during a ceremony held in Lahore.

The newly elected officials of Ali Hajveri Free Drug Bank, Mayo Hospital, Lahore General Hospital, Mian Munshi Hospital, Data Darbar Hospital and Ali Hajveri Medical Complex & Dialysis Centre, Jia Bagga, Raiwind Road, formally assumed their responsibilities after taking oath.

Election Commissioner Ms Tabinda Islam, Senior Advocate Supreme Court, announced the election results, while Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim administered the oath to the newly elected representatives.

Those who took oath included President Dr Zaheer-ul-Hassan Mir, Senior Vice President Waqar Ahmad Mian (Sitara-e-Pakistan), Vice President Khawaja Ahmad Usman, General Secretary Riyaz Shahid, Finance Secretary Dr Tahir Ali, and Information Secretary Dilbar Hameed Butt.

Members of the Executive Committee, including Professor Dr Sadaqat Ali, Dr Shagufta Zaidi, Ghazanfar Ali and Shehzad Ahmad, also took oath during the ceremony.

Addressing the newly elected officials, Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim emphasised the importance of dedicated service, transparency and commitment towards strengthening welfare initiatives and healthcare support for deserving patients.

He said organisations working in the healthcare and social welfare sectors play a vital role in providing relief to underprivileged segments of society and their effective management is essential for expanding public service delivery.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Muhammad Ashraf Janjua, District Officer Social Welfare/Bait-ul-Maal Lahore, renowned religious scholar Dr Pir Tariq Sharif Zadah, senior journalist Mudassar Iqbal Butt, and other distinguished guests.

The participants congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and expressed hope that the organisation would continue expanding its welfare and healthcare services for the public.
