The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled its latest T20 rankings, highlighting notable shifts for Pakistani players after their recent three-match T20 series against Bangladesh, which Pakistan lost.

Young Pakistani batters Sahibzada Farhan and Hassan Nawaz made impressive gains in the T20 International rankings due to their stellar performances. Farhan surged 69 spots to break into the top 100, securing the 97th position with 389 points. Meanwhile, middle-order batter Nawaz advanced 14 places to share the 54th spot with South Africa’s dynamic batter David Miller, both at 500 points.

Pakistan’s T20 captain Salman Ali Agha edged up two ranks to 91st, and opener Saim Ayub also improved by two positions to 62nd.

However, several prominent Pakistani batters saw declines. Babar Azam fell to 14th, Mohammad Rizwan dropped to 16th, Mohammad Haris plummeted 15 spots to 65th, and Fakhar Zaman slipped two places to 81st.

In the batting rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma surpassed Australia’s Travis Head to claim the top spot, with Tilak Varma rising to third.
