LAHORE: Punjab Assembly opposition leader Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar has termed the performance of the Punjab government for 100 days as a disaster.

He was addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Sunday.

“The Tik Tok chief minister has failed on the issue of wheat. The promise of provision 300 free units of electricity to the public in 100 days is also unfulfilled.

“They are placing plaques on our projects in hospitals,” the opposition leader highlighted.

Bhachar said the cat is out of the bag after the Deformation Bill 2024 had become a law and this was what they have achieved in first 100 days.

“We are with the journalist community,” he said, adding that the PTI will challenge the bill.

The founder of PTI used to say, “The PML-N and PPP are two sides of the same coin”, the opposition leader quoted Imran Khan as saying.

“Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers are still being picked up”, the PTI opposition leader added.

“The state is the real parliament. The state is not an institution. The PTI founder is not asking for any concession from anyone,” Bhachar.

“Salaries of the government employees are being raised at a rate of 10 per cent which does not make any sense in the present days of high rate inflation.[:]
