KARACHI: The All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA) has elected Mr Masood Alam Wyne of Sanasu Traders & Consultants as Chairman for the 2026-2028 term, with the Election Commission announcing the office-bearersā results after all candidates were declared unopposed.
According to the official notification issued by the APCAA Election Commission, Mr Masood Alam Wyne secured the top position of the association after no contest remained for the chairmanās slot.
Mr Gulzar Shah of M.A. Agencies was elected Senior Vice Chairman, while several other customs agents were declared elected as Vice Chairmen for the new term.
The Election Commission stated that Mr Abdul Majeed of F.M. Enterprises and Mr Amer Aslam Malik of Amer Traders Pvt. Ltd. had withdrawn their nominations for the post of Vice Chairman, resulting in an unopposed election process.
The newly elected APCAA Chairman, Mr Masood Alam Wyne, will lead the association for the next two years at a time when customs agents and trade-related businesses are facing challenges linked with customs procedures, trade facilitation, logistics operations and regulatory matters.
APCAA represents customs agents across Pakistan and serves as a platform for addressing issues faced by professionals involved in import, export and clearance services.
The associationās new leadership is expected to work towards improving coordination between customs agents, government institutions and other stakeholders to facilitate smoother trade operations.
The Election Commission announced that Mr Adeel Arshad of Khas International, Mr Ch. Sajid Ali of Shameel Enterprises, Mr M. Farooq Awan of Awan Brothers, Mr Muhammad Arshad of Sarhad Logistics (Pvt) Ltd., Mr Muhammad Mansoor Bhagwanee of Bhagwanee Associates, Mr Muhammad Munaf of Danish International, Mr Saad Ahmed Qureshi of Overseas Transit Agency (Pvt) Ltd., Mr Saeed Ahmed Khan of Transfast Logistic (Pvt) Ltd., Mr Saghir Ahmed Qureshi of Aqsa International, Mr Tanveer Hussain of Shabbir & Sons, Mr Wasiq Hussain Khan of A.K. Shippers and Mr Zahid Ullah of Saif Logistics Pvt. Ltd. were elected as Vice Chairmen.
The results were signed by Election Commissioners Syed Shams Ahmed Burney, Muhammad Aamir and Ashiq Hussain.
The notification was also shared with the Director General of Trade Organisations (DGTO), Islamabad, the DGTO observer in Karachi and placed on the associationās notice board.
With Mr Masood Alam Wyne assuming charge as Chairman, APCAAās new leadership will now begin its two-year tenure with the responsibility of representing the interests of Pakistanās customs agents and supporting trade facilitation initiatives.
