LAHORE — Lahore Investigation Police have accelerated operations against fugitives hiding abroad and achieved a major breakthrough by arresting a dangerous suspect involved in kidnapping and murder, who had fled to Bahrain.
The suspect, Sabir, was arrested and deported from Bahrain through Interpol using a red warrant. The police team has successfully brought him back to Lahore.
DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, had formed a special police team to apprehend the fugitive. He confirmed that the accused was wanted by the Lahore Police in a murder case registered at Mustafa Abad Police Station.
DIG Syed Zeeshan Raza stated that the arrest was made possible through international cooperation with Interpol. He vowed that all criminals and fugitives, no matter where they are hiding, will be brought to justice and made to face the law.
“The accused is now in police custody, and a strong case challan will be prepared to ensure he receives strict punishment from the court,” said DIG Zeeshan Raza.
SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed announced commendation certificates for the police team involved in the successful operation and appreciated their efforts in tracking and arresting the dangerous fugitive.
This high-profile arrest highlights Lahore Police’s determination to ensure justice and maintain law and order by pursuing criminals even beyond the borders of Pakistan.
