LAHORE – A sessions court in Lahore has reserved its decision on the interim bail applications filed by social media personalities Iqra Kanwal and Areeb in a case involving the alleged promotion of an online gambling application. The matter has drawn public attention as authorities continue expanding their crackdown on digital platforms accused of promoting illegal online activities.
The interim bail petitions were heard by Additional Sessions Judge Nusrat Ali Siddiqui, who listened to arguments presented by both the defence and the prosecution before reserving the verdict. The court is expected to announce its decision after examining the legal submissions and case record.
