LAHORE: Iranian Consul General Mehran Mowahid Far has said that this war was imposed on us and we have to defend ourselves, America’s bases in our neighboring countries are our target, Arab neighbors should understand that we want the best relations with them.
He was talking to a delegation led by General Secretary Pakistan People’s Party Central Punjab Syed Hassan Murtaza at the Iranian Consulate Lahore. On this occasion, the Pakistan People’s Party delegation offered condolences and recited Fateha to Iranian Consul General Mehran Mowahid Far on the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Ayesha Nawaz Chaudhry, Rao Babar Jamil, Ahsan Rizvi, Zeeshan Shami, Hussain Tirmizi, Hasnain Rajput, Rana Ashar Nisar, Naseem Sabir, Farrukh Basir, Nadsar Shakir, Basharat Ali also participated in the Fateha khanvi.
The Iranian Consul General said that should we remain silent when a neighbor attacks Iran? Even if we attack a bee or an ant’s nest, it will respond. The Iranian Consul General said that he is grateful to the Pakistani authorities and all political parties for their sympathy. The West does not want good relations between Muslim countries. He said that we are facing two enemies who torture and kill children. The US bases have become a cause of unrest in Arab countries. General Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party Hassan Murtaza said that the Pakistani people are suffering more than their Iranian brothers. We are with the Iranian government in this hour of sorrow and grief. He said that Israel does not want Muslim countries to be united and united. We appreciate the Iranian people and government for never bowing down to the West. Every country in the world has the right to strengthen its defense.
Hassan Murtaza further said that Iran is a vibrant and talented nation. Its nuclear capability will create balance in the region. General Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party Central Punjab also recorded his impressions in the guest book. Later, he also visited the Iranian Cultural Center, where he was welcomed by DG Dr. Asghar Mosoodi. The Peoples Party delegation recited Fateha for the Leader of Iran along with the Iranian Director General.
