LAHORE, December 28 — An interfaith ceremony celebrating Christmas and the birthday of Reverend Dr. Majid Abel was held at Nolakha Presbyterian Church, bringing together religious scholars, social figures, and civil society members to promote peace, tolerance, and brotherhood.

Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Maulana Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi attended as special guest. Speakers highlighted Pakistan’s diverse religious fabric and the importance of unity, while participants paid tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the Pakistan Army for their efforts toward national security and stability. The ceremony concluded with cake cutting alongside Reverend Dr. Majid Abel.
