LAHORE: Former Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Haris Ateeq has congratulated newly elected LCCI President Ali Hussam Asghar on assuming office, describing his elevation as a proud moment and recalling the struggles and challenges they had faced together.
In a heartfelt message, Haris Attique said he had closely witnessed Ali Hussam Asghar’s journey, including his struggles, sacrifices, sleepless nights, pressures and disappointments.

“We have stood together when things were easy, but more importantly, we stood together when things were incredibly difficult. And those are the moments that build a bond for life,” he said.
Haris Attique said his pride stemmed not merely from Ali Hussam Asghar becoming LCCI president, but from knowing the person behind the position.
He praised Ali Hussam Asghar’s courage, sincerity, energy, proactive leadership and determination to turn challenges into opportunities.
“I truly believe you will leave behind a mark that will be remembered for years to come,” Haris Attique said.
He assured the newly elected LCCI president of his continued support, saying their bond would remain unchanged despite the new responsibilities and position.
“Yesterday I stood beside you as a brother and a friend. Today I stand beside you as your brother and your proudest supporter. And tomorrow, whatever comes, you will find me standing right there beside you,” he said.
Haris Attique prayed that Allah would grant Ali Hussam Asghar the wisdom, strength and courage to fulfil his responsibilities with honour and serve the business community.
“May your journey bring pride to our family and service to the entire business community,” he said.
“The chair may carry the title, but the journey behind it carries our memories,” Haris Attique concluded.
