KARACHI (Web Desk) – A downward trend hit Pakistan’s bullion markets on Thursday, wiping out the sharp gains recorded over the previous three consecutive trading sessions.
Data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) revealed that the price of 24-carat gold per tola fell by Rs2,300 to settle at Rs452,936, while the 10-gram rate dropped by Rs2,070 to close at Rs387,615. Mirroring this decline, silver prices per tola shed Rs144 to land at Rs7,359.
This contraction in the domestic market directly reflects an overnight easing in global bullion rates, where international gold lost $23 per ounce to trade at $4,305.
