Karachi | June 2, 2026 – Pakistani actor Fahad Mustafa has opened up about his ambitions, the changing dynamics of the entertainment industry, and his latest film Zombeid, offering a candid look at his career and creative choices.
In a recent interview with international media, Mustafa revealed that despite earning widespread recognition through television dramas, he always hoped to establish himself as a film star. Recalling interactions with filmmakers, he said people often referred to him as a “film star,” a title he eventually embraced as a personal goal.
Reflecting on his enduring popularity, the actor credited the positive public image he has maintained throughout his career. He also discussed how social media has transformed the entertainment landscape, saying it has removed traditional barriers between celebrities and audiences, making stars more accessible than ever before.
When asked about allegations of favouritism within the industry, Mustafa said he has never personally faced such issues and believes the concept of powerful industry lobbies has largely disappeared. He stressed that dedication and hard work remain the key factors behind success.
The actor also compared the television and film industries, noting that cinema carries significantly greater financial and professional risks. According to Mustafa, while television projects continue regardless of ratings, a film’s success or failure is immediately visible to the public.
