LAHORE – Daroghawala Industrial Owners Association (Registered) organized a prestigious ceremony to mark Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, featuring a flag-hoisting ceremony and cake-cutting event.
Chairman Shaban Akhtar and President Ramiz Dewan, while addressing the gathering, urged the nation to renew its commitment to fulfilling the dreams of Pakistan’s founding leaders and martyrs.
They paid tribute to the services and sacrifices of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, and the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country. They emphasized that every Pakistani, particularly the youth who make up nearly 60 percent of the population, should perform their responsibilities with dedication, honesty, and sincerity.
The leaders said that Pakistan is already strong and invincible in terms of defence and called upon citizens to work collectively to make the country economically strong through hard work, integrity, and innovation.
“Let us make Pakistan economically invincible through our dedication and honest efforts,” they said, extending Independence Day greetings and raising slogans of Pakistan Zindabad.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman Shaban Akhtar, President Ramiz Dewan, Coordinator Umar Abdullah, General Secretary Shehzad Saleem, Finance Secretary Haji Nisar, and executive members including Haji Ilyas, Shehzada Shahid, Muhammad Hafeez, Shahid Mughal, Nasir Khan, Munir Hussain, Hamid Noor, Kashif Mughal, Nadeem Shahid, Mubashir Saleem, Abdul Rehman, Rana Riaz, Muzaffar Khan, Ameer Jamal and other members of the association.
