ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has left for Saudi Arabia on an official visit from March 19 to 22, 2025, accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, key federal ministers, and senior officials.

The primary objectives of the visit are to enhance bilateral relations, boost economic cooperation, and promote investment between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
During the visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. Their discussions will focus on expanding trade, strengthening partnerships in key sectors, and facilitating broader economic collaboration.
Key topics on the agenda will include regional and global developments, particularly the evolving situation in Gaza and the Middle East, as well as issues concerning the Muslim Ummah.
This visit underscores the deep-rooted historical ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, fostering greater mutual understanding, diplomatic engagement, and cooperation in trade, investment, and regional affairs.
