LAHORE: In Punjab Assembly Opposition walked out of the house against not being allowed to meet PTI founder and filing illegal cases against MPAs, while the government passed the Local Government Bill with a majority vote.

Opposition Leader Ahmed Khan Bhachar said there was a ceremony in the assembly for women, but isn’t Yasmin Rashid a woman?
“A woman is being raped in Punjab every thirty minutes,” he said.
“The Chief Minister says that women are their red line. The government’s entire focus is solely on keeping the PTI chairman in jail.
“We are not being allowed to meet the founder and the Punjab government is spending public money on self-promotion. We are walking out of the house against not meeting the party leader and filing illegal cases against MPAs,” he said.
