LAHORE: The Women Entrepreneurs Business Forum, convened by Mrs. Firdous Nisar at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (LCCI) Founders Hall, emphasized empowering women entrepreneurs to enhance their business acumen and global competitiveness.
The meeting began with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by member introductions. Mrs Nisar, Convener of the Standing Committee, welcomed participants and highlighted the forum’s mission to support women in business while promoting Pakistan’s unique products internationally.
Key suggestions included providing women entrepreneurs with guidance on securing export orders for textiles, bedding, abayas, and related items. Participants emphasized the need for strategic support to identify investment opportunities and enhance business skills.
Mrs Nisar proposed dedicated training sessions on global e-commerce platforms like Alibaba, Amazon, and Shopify to equip women entrepreneurs with the skills to market and sell products internationally. The formation of brand collaborations was also suggested to mitigate high export costs and improve visibility in global markets.
Participants discussed creating a dedicated social media hub on platforms like Instagram and Facebook to share success stories, expert advice, and podcasts, fostering collaboration among women entrepreneurs.

(NK Enterprises).
