LAHORE: Secretary/Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab, Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, has stated that the Government is firmly committed to enhancing public service delivery at shrines across Punjab. He emphasized that there will be no compromise on the quality of work in ongoing development projects, directing all concerned authorities to ensure that every aspect of construction strictly adheres to prescribed standards and requirements.
He reiterated that the provision of state-of-the-art facilities for devotees and visitors remains a foremost priority of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, and Chief Secretary Punjab, Zahid Akhtar Zaman.
Secretary/Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab, Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, expressed these views while inspecting the ongoing Development Project Phase-II at the revered shrine of Hazrat Bibi Pak Daman Shrine. During the visit, he conducted a comprehensive review of progress and stressed strict adherence to timelines alongside the highest quality benchmarks.
He issued clear directions to expedite the pace of work and ensure the timely completion of the project. He further instructed officials to accelerate construction activities to meet stipulated deadlines without compromising excellence.
The development works under Phase-II include the construction of dedicated male and female blocks, a Langar Khana, Musafir Khana, expanded parking facilities, and offices for Rescue 1122, Police, and Auqaf administration, aimed at providing integrated and efficient services under one roof.
Secretary/Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab, Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, also directed that visitor facilitation must remain central to all planning and execution, ensuring ease, comfort, and accessibility for devotees visiting the shrine.
Director Projects Rafique Noor Wattoo, Administrator Auqaf Lahore (East) Muhammad Akram, XEN C&W Fahad Naveed, Manager Bibi Pakdamin Gulzar Ahmad, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
