Addressing a press conference, Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan Bhachar said that the talks should include the release of the Charter of Demand leaders, the recovery of missing persons and an end to the ongoing atrocities on workers. He said that these talks are being held with those who should have been held against the will of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif. The martyrdom of the Rangers personnel was an accident which is being linked to the founder of the PTI and Bushra Bibi. He said that the Pakistani people and the PTI are going through a worse time than martial law. The government of uncle and niece is imposed on the people in the form of a punishment.
