LAHORE — The 47th Punjab Junior Boys and Women’s Senior Open Squash Championship 2026 will be held in Lahore from November 1 to 4, featuring competitions in four junior boys’ age categories.
Mamoon Khan, vice-president of the Punjab Squash Association and tournament director, said the event was being organised under the directions of Punjab Squash Association President Noor-ul-Amin Mengal.
The boys’ competitions will be held in the under-9, under-13, under-17 and under-19 categories. The tournament carries a total prize purse of Rs200,000, with a 32-player draw planned. Two players have been granted wild-card entries.
Punjab Squash Association Secretary Muhammad Mansoor said the association would provide accommodation for participating female players.
He said Punjab organised more squash events than any other provincial association in Pakistan, despite facing a shortage of sponsors.
Mansoor added that the association organised events for young players every month to provide them with regular competitive opportunities and help improve their skills.
